How are lust and anger similar to one another in how they use power against people? Where have you seen this in your own life?
Steve discussed the difference between a consumer relationship with sex vs a covenant relationship with sex. What is the difference between these, and why is it important to reflect on this?
Jesus uses hyperbole (“gouge out your eye” or “cut off your hand”) to show us that drastic measures are needed to keep us from sexual sin and lustful intent. Why is Jesus taking this so seriously?
Steve gave us 3 ways of “drastic measures” to fight against the temptation to lust: feeding your life with Christ, healing from shame & trauma, protecting the narrow path with proper boundaries. What do you need the most right now in your battle against lust?
