Pray for Rachel Friesen

Dan Friesen is a worship pastor at Summit View Church and he and his wife, Rachel have become dear friends. Rachel's physical heart only has three chambers and she has been on the transplant list for a new heart for many years. Last week Dan and Rachel received word that a heart was available and they hurried up to Seattle for the surgery. Rachel received the new heart but tragically the heart isn't pumping blood correctly and has locked up. This is an emergency situation and I'm asking that you please pray for Rachel, pray that her new heart would start to work, that doctors would have great wisdom and please pray for the family.

Love & War: Then & Now

We're starting a series in the book of Ephesians at Summit View Church called "Love & War: Then & Now."  We're approaching the letter of Ephesians with a cultural theme that compares the ancient culture of Ephesus to the modern pop-culture of Vancouver, Washington. I'm looking forward to diving into issues of faith and culture. I'll have more content from this study coming soon.
