Character of God: Exodus 34:6-7

Biblical authors often referenced and quoted their favorite parts of Scripture, and the list of God's character traits found in Exodus 34:6-7 is the most repeated and re-quoted text in the Bible.

In this video we'll explore this foundational description of God's attributes that illustrates what God values and why he acts the way he does.

Training: Being a Godly Troublemaker

Watch the newest sermon from Apologia Church delivered by Pastor Jeff Durbin. In this message, Jeff speaks against the modern Evangelical methodology for evangelism and cultural engagement. The early church brought the Good News in the context of a lot of hostility and opposition to the message. They did not alter the message. They were bold. They told the truth. Watch this very challenging and convicting sermon and be sure to share it with someone you love.

Randy Newman | What We Can Learn from Unlikely Converts | Gospelbound

Randy Newman is a senior teaching fellow with The C. S. Lewis Institute in Washington, D.C., author of the bestselling “Questioning Evangelism,” and veteran of more than 30 years in campus ministry.

He writes that coming to Christ takes time, that people tend to come to faith communally, that they come to faith variously, and that nothing is too difficult for God. And he joins Collin Hansen on Gospelbound to discuss more observations from these unlikely converts as we seek to share Christ in a contentious age.

Why Study Ephesians (Eph 1:1-2)

This morning we begin a new study in the book of Ephesians.

Ephesians focuses on who we are in Christ (Position) and how we are to live in Christ (Practice).

Come learn with us and rekindle a white-hot love and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. We will be studying Acts 19, Ephesians 1:1-2, and Revelation 2:4-6.

RVC Outdoor Worship Service 6.28.20

Rainier Valley Church was lead in a time of outdoor worship by Yee & Carolyn Feng and Brittney Bierbaum at a social-distanced, family-style service on Sunday, June 28th.

This was the Fengs last Sunday at RVC so they were honored, celebrated, and prayed for as our church family blessed and sent them into this next season of life down in San Diego.
