James Tour grew up in a secular Jewish household in New York City, but while attending Syracuse
University, he encountered the gospel of Jesus Christ and later became discipled in his faith by several individuals during his academic career. Dr. Tour is now a renowned chemist and has made significant discoveries in various areas of chemistry, including organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, materials science, and nanotechnology. He has also started successful companies and is a husband and father of four.
Despite his accomplishments, Dr. Tour values his relationship with Jesus Christ above all else and is passionate about sharing the gospel with others. He openly declares the life-giving power of the gospel and boldly proclaims the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, whether it's through students gathering at his home, interviews with other scientists, or engaging with his thousands of followers on social media.
