1.Singleness is for Undivided Devotion 
-Why is it important for our church to take some time to think about the topic of singleness? 
-In 1 Corinthians 7:28, Paul warns singles that those who marry will have many world troubles, what does this mean? What are some of the benefits of singleness in a life of devotion towards God? 
-In 1 Corinthians 7:32-35, Paul shares some pastoral wisdom about the single season of our lives being for an undivided devotion to the Lord. How does singleness uniquely allow us to serve the Lord? 

2.Singleness is a Gift from God
-When you think of singleness, do you tend to view it positively or negatively and why?
-In 1 Corinthians 7:6-7, Paul speaks of the seasons of singleness and marriage as gifts from God. What ways have you personally experienced discontentment with the gift God has given you? How can seeing singleness and marriage as gifts from God help us change our perspective and maximize each season?  

3.Singleness is for Friendship and Family  
-How would you summarize Jesus’ understanding of friendship in John 15:15? We all want deep friendships, what barriers stand in our way? 
-In Mark 10:28-30, what does Jesus promise each of his disciples will experience in this life if they follow him? How have you experienced these promises in your life? 

4.Singleness is Not Permanent (Neither is Marriage)
-How do the life seasons of singleness and marriage point us to the truth of the Gospel? Why is it important to understand that both singleness and marriage aren’t permanent? How can we support and celebrate the singles in our church?
