Christian Wives in Marriage (3:1–6) • Wordless Sermon — Godly conduct speaks louder than words (1–2). • Inner Beauty — True beauty is the imperishable character of a gentle & quiet spirit (3–4). • Holy Heroes — Follow the example of Sarah and the women who trusted God (5–6). 2. Christian Husbands in Marriage (3:7) • Live with Understanding — Know and honor your wife as a coheir of grace. • Honor as Precious — Treat her with tenderness, respect, and sacrificial care. • Partner with Purpose — A husband’s prayers are hindered when he fails to love and honor his wife. 3. Christian Brothers & Sisters in the Church (3:8–12) • Unity of Mind — Pursue shared convictions and humility in community. • Sympathy & Love — Enter into the joys and sorrows of others. • Respond with Blessing — Return good for evil, blessing for insult. • Guard Your Words — Speak truth and pursue peace, for God’s eyes are on the righteous. Practical Challenges to Live Out Hope in Relationships • Honor in the Home — Wives, reflect Christ’s beauty through a gentle and trusting spirit. Husbands, lead with understanding and sacrificial love. • Unity in the Church — Be intentional in encouraging and reconciling with others. • Bless Instead of Retaliate — When wronged, respond with grace and prayer. • Pursue Peace — Watch your words and actions to foster harmony.
