Conservative MP Miriam Cates questions the Minister for Schools, Robin Walker, on the content that schools have been using in RSE, some of which encourages young children to 'change gender'.
Critiquing the current curriculum, the MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge said: "Biologically, you cannot change your sex.
"In every cell of your body, you have sex chromosomes, you cannot change them, that is a biological fact.
"So, you can tell children that some people believe that you can have a different gender to the sex you are born but other people, and science, say this. You can't teach it as fact."
