Hallmark Christmas movies are notoriously predictable. They follow a pattern that is so by the numbers you can predict what's going to happen before you even watch it. Church can often follow a similar pattern when we discuss the love of God. It can feel cliche, shallow, and predictable yet God's love is the centerpiece of the Christian faith.
