I was listening to a podcast by Michael Hyatt about the importance of blogging as a leader. He outlined several points on why a leader should have a create, maintain and prioritize a blog.

5. Share your organization's vision
6. Network with other leaders
7. Build trust with others
8. Building authority in your expertise
9. Gather feedback from your community
10. Informal mentoring of new leaders
